Monday, September 30

1.  Write a THESIS statement for the DBQ
2.  Lecture:  Greek Geography and Early History

Read Pages 123-126 in your textbook.  There is a reading guide that goes with this.  But I am going to make it OPTIONAL.  You can do it for extra credit---but you will need to download it yourself.  Even if you do not do the assignment, YOU STILL NEED TO READ!  You may have a pop quiz later in the week!

Chapter 5, Section 1 Reading Guide  This will be due on THURSDAY, if you choose to do it.  It will not be accepted late.

Tuesday, OCTOBER 1 

Periods 1 & 3:  Today, you will be watching a video entitled, "The Greeks:  Crucible of Civilization."  There is a sheet that goes with the video.  You can download it here.  If you are absent, you will still need to see the video, which you can watch below.

Period 8:  You will be meeting with your counselor.  You will be watching the video on Wednesday.
Wednesday, October 2 Periods 1 & 3:  Today, you will be meeting with your counselors. Period 8:  Today, you will be watching the video that is located above. If you are doing the optional assignment, it needs to be turned in TOMORROW!
Thursday, October 3 1.  Finish the film if necessary.  Discuss. 2.  Complete MAP of Ancient Greece.   Homework:  Read pages 127-139 in the textbook.  Complete the Reading Guide Chapter 5, Sections 2-3.  This will be due on TUESDAY!
Friday, October 4 Lecture:  Ancient Athens and Ancient Sparta Happy Homecoming! Don't forget the reading guide is due on TUESDAY!
